Neighbors Helping Neighbors
When things go sideways, who do you count on? Out here, we know that first responders can’t be everywhere at once—so we step up for each other. This weekend at the Mateel Community Center, longtime locals and new faces came together for CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) training, learning how to work as a team in a crisis.
We saw strengths emerge, new connections form, and a whole lot of people committed to keeping this community strong. Because at the end of the day, it’s not just about being prepared—it’s about showing up for one another. 🍻💙
