10/3 Battle Of Das Boot

Battle of Das Boot: California Steinholding State Qualifier

Saturday, October 3 | 6 PM | Gyppo Ale Mill

Think your arm has what it takes?

Join us for Battle of Das Boot, Gyppo’s official California Steinholding State Championship Qualifier.

For $20, competitors receive:

• A keepsake stein
• A full beer to get started
• Entry into the competition

The winner earns a spot at the California State Steinholding Championship at Quintopia Brewing Company in Quincy, plus $250 from Gyppo toward the trip.

We’ll have Christen & Jenn McDonald judging, with 2025 California State Champion Lonny Whitlow in the house. Lonny won Gyppo’s qualifier last year before going on to take the California title.

Never competed before? No problem. This one is just as much about having fun as it is about hanging on.

Spectators encouraged. Heckling also encouraged.
