We’re stepping in as a last-minute venue to help support local young filmmakers — and we couldn’t be more excited.

Join us on February 19 for a special Lost Coast Film Festival screening night featuring youth and young adult submissions from incredibly talented local creators:

• Star Wars: The Secret Jedi – Loki Williams
• A Day at Riptide Dojo – Makana Davis
• Vampire Hillbillies – Oleg Kukuruza
• Surviving the Wild – Joanna Monschke

This evening is all about celebrating emerging storytellers, supporting young creatives, and bringing families together for a community-centered film experience. It’s going to be a fun, supportive, high-energy night — and these filmmakers deserve a big crowd.

Gyppo is proud to provide an under-21-friendly space so these films can be shared with the full community.

And this is just part of the celebration.

We’ll also be hosting the Grand Finale of the 2026 Lost Coast Film Contest on March 5, where finalists from each age category will be screened and the Grand Prize winner will be announced. Mark your calendar — you won’t want to miss it.
